Organizational Measurement: Stewarding Resources and Tracking Outcomes

All nonprofits believe they are doing great work. But, how do they know and what stories do they share to demonstrate their impact?

With the right data and tools of measurement in mind, we will discuss the following:

• What measurement results mean and don’t mean for your organization.
• Introduction to Operational and Financial Measurement
• Deep dive in Program Measurement
• How measurement and your Strategic Plan go hand in hand
• The use of a “theory of change” to identity key outcomes
• What to do with measurements once you have then

The goal is not to prove that your organization is “the best,” but to steward the resources invested in the mission to the fullest.

Audience: this three-hour workshop aims to help leaders, board members, donors, and champions have a common language, set of goals, and agreed upon practices for measurement.
